Yeti’s use of Vectran was pioneered on their Special Projects bikes, offering World Cup DH toughness. The LTe carbon fiber frame is enhanced with Vectran plies, a high-performance multifilament like Kevlar offers exceptional impact resistance and contributes to overall strength. Key areas have added protection including chainstays, seatstays, top-tube and downtube.

Winning the E-EDR World Cup taught Yeti a lot. They put all that experience into the tune of Sixfinity which is optimized for the Bosch CX drive unit power traits and total system weight.
On LTe, all six bars of the linkage control the wheel path and the shock rate. Sixfinity allows for far greater independence when tuning for acceleration and deceleration, traction, and supportive suspension characteristics unique to the demands of an eMTB.
It also lets Yeti tweak unique suspension characteristics to work with the demands of such a powerful drive unit. So what if most riders won’t race the LTe? You’ll know it’s built to win.
